Makerspace is a new ‘pop-up’ hands-on learning lab inside the Rosenthal Library.

We’re located on Floor 1, Room 101, adjacent to Media Commons.

Inspired by “the maker movement” our Makerspace aims to provide a place to learn new skills as well as a forum for sharing and exchanging ideas with others.

Each week we’re expanding our tools & resources. We currently provide support for:

  • 3D-printing
  • 3D-scanning
  • sewing & digital embroidery
  • soldering
  • communal workspace
  • Arduino & Raspberry Pi (Linux)

Long-term we hope to provide support for:

  • laser etching & engraving
  • CNC digital fabrication
  • hand tools & hardware
  • Internet of Things
  • basic electronics
  • bioprinting
  • robotics
  • & more!
